It was today announced the new team to work on my favorite show, Countdown. After a long running open relationship with Carol Vorderman, she no longer returns my calls and has issued a restraining order. Fortunately, her replacement is also hot and mathsy. Yeah baby! Plus, she isn’t over twice my age. Cash-back!

Straight A-student, Rachel Riley, beat 1000 applicants to step into Carol’s shoes. However, she will only (I say only…) be earning £100000/year as her salary, which comparatively to her predecessor is a pittance. You deserve more Rachel you foxy fox!

Rachel has been quoted as saying, ‘This is the best graduate job in the world,’ to which she added, ‘There’s only one cool maths job around and I was lucky enough to get it, so I’m absolutely thrilled.’
